Its all about timing
On our FIRST date in 2007, John asked me to marry him. Naturally, I said, “YES!” 🙂 Four months later, we said, “I do” and never looked back.
In 2011, God had another crazy surprise in store for us. Super pregnant and ready to burst, we were sent home from the hospital to wait out the contractions. Upon arriving at home, our precious baby decided to make his way into the world without waiting for anybody. With a shocked look on his face, John caught the baby, gave him to me, and our parenting journey began.
It truly is all about timing. God’s timing.
Whether it’s a nuanced facial reaction on camera, deciding to homeschool our children, or that slight pause before delivering that final “clincher” line of commercial copy, timing has always been providential and crucial.
And still, even if it’s a new voice over project or a family adventure, the most amazing journeys begin in those scary moments when I choose to say yes… and let God do the rest.
